To celebrate Deaf Awareness Month, we kicked off the meeting with a discussion about how everyone can participate in Deaf Awareness Month. Then, we talked about different aspects of Deaf culture like name signs acquisition. Then, for our Deaf Owned Business of the day, we highlighted Language Priority. And our meeting wrapped up with ASL fingerspelling and Scattergories!
