Happy International Week of the Deaf! Today's meeting was the kickoff for the International Week of the Deaf. This meeting focused on the very people who inspire the wonderful language that we are all working with. There are many different signed languages in the world. We watched a video comparing different signed languages from other countries to ASL and discussed how you can get involved to appreciate and support Deaf people this week (and everyday)!
