Happy Black History Month! Today we discussed the importance of Black ASL and how it differs greatly from ASL. It is a subculture and language accent within Deaf culture, how neat! Then, we shouted out our Deaf Owned Business of the day -- Black Deaf Center! We also started our sign up sheet for our annual Gallaudet University trip. Then we ended the meeting with a game of scattergories!
